De Terra hand-made necklaces
I enjoy making beads that connect with the various series' of paintings that I make, and the finished necklaces may reflect the geographical, historical, or more abstract, wanderings of my thoughts.
Each bead is hand-made and hand-decorated and therefore unique in shape, texture and colour.
Using a variety of pigments, metallic powders and foils to decorate the surfaces, they are then sealed, making them totally waterproof.
The small glass seed beads are contemporary and sourced from all over the world, providing a comfortable link between the past and the present. Wire is used for threading, and the necklaces are finished with a metal toggle clasp.
I think of my necklaces as 'wearable art' rather than jewellery!
Prices range from £25 - £40 inc p&p within UK.
